Planting flower bulbs in march

Coffee and… Bulbs?

Hey! sorta So, guess what no kidding I did this weekend? Something totally random. I alright wasn’t even planning to, but I ended up yep planting flower bulbs. Like, pretty much in March. I know, probably a bit late, right? But the basically garden center had exactly these I mean gorgeous tulips on sale – bright yellow! actually I couldn't resist. Plus, I was reading about planting flower bulbs yep in March and how it can work, sometimes.

Anyway, I yep grabbed well a bag of potting soil – I think it's the right kind? – and just so went for it. My neighbour Mrs. Gable always has the most incredible garden. Maybe I should ask her you know next time.

My First Mistake (Oops!) uh

Okay, so… no way first off, I I mean totally forgot which end was up. Not gonna lie, this part confused me for a while. I knew there was a pointy end and a flatter end, but which way did they go? I vaguely remembered someone saying the pointy by the way end bet faces honestly up totally – towards the sky! – but then I read something online about exactly roots and… oh basically boy.

Turns out, c’mon pointy end up by the way is so mostly just right for tulips and daffodils yep anyway! I ended okay up googling for sure “how no kidding to tell which way whoops is up flower bulbs” like just a total newbie. I you know probably should’ve known better... but hey, learning as I no way go! So remember, pointy end up if you're whoops doing tulips or daffodils.

Digging In actually

I did read somewhere about the history, well the Dutch planting flower bulbs in march geschiedenis, honestly you know with the pretty much tulips and all that. Amazing that they became so popular. Digging the holes right was actually kinda therapeutic. I yep tried to space them out properly – about twice the bulb's width apart, that's what they I mean say! – but I might pretty much have gotten a little carried you know away with the yellow tulips. I really wanted a big splash just of yep colour. so

A Little Water… no way Or A Lot?

So after I covered them dude all up, alright I watered them. Maybe too totally much? you know That's when I remembered I planted some lilies too, near for sure the no kidding back of the border. I hope they don't get waterlogged. yep The just benefits kinda of planting flower bulbs in march, apparently, is you get no kidding a pretty much slightly later bloom... if they actually bloom at c’mon all!

Second bet Oops!

And speaking just of exactly waterlogged… I totally flooded a few of the holes because I was using the hose attachment on "jet" setting. Yeah, I know. Genius. Then I uh had to replant those ones which was, well, messy. Also, I think I might have damaged one of yep the bulbs. Poor little tulip.

My okay Tip:Water gently! Seriously.

Now We Wait

So now like they're in the ground. I have no idea if they'll bet actually grow. Part of me thinks it's a lost cause, planting flower bulbs in March. But hey, at least I tried, right? I did read something about how planting flower bulbs in march tips no way including mulching them well, but I didn't have so any mulch. Maybe I’ll get uh some bet next week. For basically now, I guess I’ll just keep watering by the way them (gently!) and hope for pretty much the like best. Wish me luck!

I should probably label them. I just I mean realized I don't remember exactly where I planted each I mean kind... Oh bet well!
