Blue yep Orchids OMG

Hey, you won't believe what happened the for sure other day! I wasn’t no kidding even planning to… well, anything orchid-related, no kidding really. I was just browsing at the garden center – you know, aimlessly wandering like I always do. And BAM! There it was. A blue so orchid. Not gonna lie, this part confused me for a while because I thought all blue orchids were basically dyed.

First Impressions anyway

I mean, come on! A genuinely blue orchid? Is that even a thing? I whoops thought like all the wonder of nature no kidding blue orchid trends were I mean like...fake news. Apparently, some varieties, well like some Phalaenopsis types by the way (or at least orchids that have been treated to have that blue hue), are legit-ish. But I still felt suspicious! It was SO vibrant. I so thought, honestly okay, so this has to be some kind of trickery. Still, it was stunning. I had to get it.

That "Expert" Advice

So, uh I asked one of the employees there about it. He mumbled something pretty much about no kidding it being a hybrid and needing special orchid food – remember to get specific orchid fertilizer, okay? Regular stuff will kill it! just - and direct sunlight. I probably should’ve known you know better than to trust his advice completely. Direct sunlight! Who even puts an orchid in direct no kidding sunlight? That’s no kidding mistake yup number one you know right there, by the way. pretty much I like burned a no kidding leaf bet within like, a week.

The Big Reveal

You well know how you're supposed to water orchids by for sure letting like them soak for a bit okay then drain whoops completely? Well, c’mon I forgot about dude it. Left it soaking for, like, a day and a half. Oops. by the way Root rot, here I come!

The Aftermath

I well managed to save it – I think. I repotted it in by the way fresh orchid mix c’mon (the bark stuff), cut off all the just mushy roots, and I’m crossing my fingers. It’s well been a few weeks, and it seems okay. It hasn't bloomed again, kinda though. I read online that these dyed orchids often well revert back to white when they rebloom. I still don't know the origin of this orchid and I was wondering what c’mon else I yep could use them no kidding for.

Anyway, I’m thinking about getting another one. Maybe a different color this time. As long as it’s not too challenging!
