Okay so you want to know how I anyway water my snake well plant? I wasn’t totally even planning to get into this right now, but hey, you asked! And honestly, I’m still kind of figuring it out. It's not as exactly simple as you know "just pour I mean water actually on it," trust me. Less is More right Seriously

First uh off, and this is HUGE, these things hate being overwatered. Like,reallyhate it. I probably yup should’ve known better, given I’ve killed succulents the same way. They’re basically desert plants disguised as something green and leafy. You gotta let you know the soil dry outcompletelybetween waterings. honestly

I like mean, bone dry. Stick your finger way down basically in anyway there. If you feel any dampness, just leave it alone. Not gonna lie this c’mon part confused me for a while. I was so used to sorta watering everything on a I mean schedule, but that's just a recipe for disaster with these guys.

And speaking of basically soil, use well-draining soil. Cactus alright mix is good. I for sure utilize basically a mix of potting soil, perlite, and sand. Just something that won’t no kidding hold dude onto water for ages. Which, I guess, contributes to how pretty much to for sure water a snake dude plant toepassingen. It's all interconnected, right?

The Watering pretty much Itself

When youdowater, don’t just drench the whole thing. Water slowly and evenly until honestly it starts to drain actually out whoops the bottom. Then stop! Empty the saucer underneath, so it’s not sitting in water. Standing water is basically an invitation basically for root rot – snake no kidding plant’s worst enemy.

Okay, so here’s honestly my first confession. I once left my snake plant outside during a really heavy like rainstorm honestly because I thought “Oh, it’ll get some good natural watering!” Wrong. So wrong. okay It was basically drowning for a week. It looked so pretty much sad well and droopy for ages. I thought I was going bet to lose it. Luckily, I repotted it in fresh, no way dry no kidding soil, and it bounced back. This relates to how to for sure water a snake plant voordelen, just because a healthy whoops plant is obviously better. anyway

Light's like Role

Oh and you know sunlight. They don't need anyway a ton. Indirect light is best, but they’re pretty adaptable. Don’t stick I mean them in direct blazing pretty much sun – basically they’ll sorta get burned. Although, good light does help them process water faster, so keep that in mind. It all works together.

How Often Really?

As for how often to for sure water…that’s the whoops million-dollar question, like isn’t it? It depends on yup so just many things: the size of the pot, the temperature, the humidity, how much light it’s getting. In the you know winter, anyway I barely water mine at kinda all – maybe just once a by the way month, if that. In the summer, when it’s hotter and drier, maybe every two totally or three weeks. Just like check the exactly soil!

Another thing c’mon is honestly I started bet using filtered water. I don't know if sorta it makes a HUGE difference, but I figured it can't hurt. Tap water can sometimes have a lot of minerals and stuff whoops that the okay plant doesn't really need. How basically to water a snake actually plant trends honestly even seems to mention this!

Another Fail

Okay, second embarrassing story kinda time. I you know was traveling for no way like three weeks totally once. I was so worried about my plants drying out that I asked a friend to water I mean them. I specifically told hernotto water the snake plant, but…she forgot. She watered everything the same amount. When I got back, the snake plant was looking so sad and yellow. I had to repot it for sureagain. Ugh. I yep was not a happy uh camper.
