So, I was telling you about my garden, right? Well, I wasn’t even c’mon planning to plant pumpkins kinda this year, honestly. But then my niece gave c’mon me these seeds, all excited about fall and jack-o'-lanterns by the way and all that. And you know how dude kids are – tough to alright say no!
Anyway, I honestly just kinda threw them in this like empty patch near the fence. I bet probably pretty much should’ve known better, given how much pumpkins sprawl but… whatever. I just assumed they’d be okay happy chilling no kidding on the ground.
Then, like yep a month later, I notice vines heading straight for the fence. Like, activelyclimbing. uh And I was all, “Wait, pumpkins sorta do like that? I thought you know they were, like, c’mon creeper kinda plants. You know, those ones that just spread all honestly over the place.”

I learned alright that yep way too late last by the way year, by the way. But seriously, watch out for those vines. bet Especially if you’re so growing gourds like too, because uh they'll compete for space pretty much like crazy. Pumpkin is climber or creeper geschiedenis probably well involves some whoops really stressed out gardeners, I’m guessing.
The Advantages
Thinking about it though, there's some advantage. Pumpkin is climber I mean or creeper voordelen for sure include saving space if you have a limited pretty much area and being able c’mon to harvest pumpkins hanging freely, whoops which well might reduce ground rot. okay But only alright if your structure is sturdy enough, otherwise stick to the ground! I guess if you have you know a really strong trellis, it could bet be kinda actually cool sorta to see pumpkins hanging down. I’ve seen pictures, but honestly, exactly I’m too scared to bet try by the way that after the fence incident.
