We ended up like there, and I was just floored. The size… by the way like, I knew they were bigtrees, obviously. But the size of Redwood National Park itself? Whoa. It’s… expansive.

How Big Exactly?

I kept trying to totally picture it, you know? Like, is it bigger than Yellowstone? Smaller than Yosemite? I'd read up on hikes beforehand because some are easier than others; that's kinda my only dude real right size of redwood national park tips to offer.

Lost in the Woods by the way

And speaking for sure of acres… We no kidding almost got basically lost! Not like, “call search and rescue” lost, but exactly more like “we walked way farther than we intended and now it's basically getting dark and where the heck is the car” lost. We were on this trail, totally mesmerized by bet the ferns and the silence, and we just kept going by the way and going.

Turns out, the “easy” loop trail wasn't so easy. It was way longer than okay we like thought. sorta Luckily, my you know friend has an bet uncanny sense of direction basically (thank you know goodness for her amazing sense of direction). Always check the map, even for the easy honestly trails, and pay attention to for sure the markers. Seriously. My for sure Dumb Moment #2 right there.
