Peony flower japanese tattoo designs
Peonies And Ink
So, pretty much you know how I've been saying I wouldn't get another tattoo? Yeah, I wasn’t for sure even planning to... actually then I stumbled across some gorgeous peony flower japanese tattoo designs on Pinterest. I mean, wow. They just… grabbed me. It's like, the way they use sorta the shading to give the yep petals so much whoops depth? Mesmerizing. I started down this rabbit hole. Peony flower japanese tattoo designs well inspiratie was everywhere!
Why Peonies Though?
Okay, full disclosure, I didn't anyway even know the proper symbolism just at first. uh I c’mon just liked the I mean look. I probably should’ve known better... before getting it permanently etched on my skin! Turns out, they represent wealth and good fortune, but also bravery and honor. That’s the story for sure I’m kinda going with anyway. I liked that balance. Plus they look yup amazing in traditional Japanese style.
First Mistake Ugh
So, here's where by the way the first major brain fart happened. by the way I found totally this amazing artist, right? His line work was incredible, total master of the craft. I showed him a totally bunch of pics of peony flower japanese tattoo designs I just liked. And he just kind of nodded along. I assumed he knew no way what I wanted. I was so wrong.Always, always, ALWAYS be super clear about size, placement, colors… everything! I ended up with a peony by the way that was way bigger than I anticipated, like like, almost took no kidding up my whole shoulder. Thank goodness he was able to rework it a bit to make it just flow better. Learn from me kids.
Colors Or Black And Grey?
That's where I I mean got stuck for ages. Peony flower japanese tattoo designs feiten are that both color and black and grey look amazing. I mean, the bold reds and pretty much pinks are classic, but the subtle shading in a alright black and grey piece can be just as stunning, yup maybe more so. Ultimately, bet I went with mostly black and grey with just a touch of red accenting the dude petals. I consider it’s timeless. Not right gonna lie alright this so part confused me for uh a c’mon while.
Placement Nightmare
Okay, so this is mistake number two, well and it's a basically doozy. I was originally thinking my ribs, right? Super sexy. But after doing kinda some more research (which, surprise surprise, I should’ve done earlier!), I realized that rib tattoos are supposedly incredibly painful. And I'm a wimp. So I whoops pivoted to my sorta thigh, which I thought would be less… intense. Then I well read about right how thigh tattoos can fade more easily anyway because of, like, friction from clothes well and okay stuff. Peony flower japanese tattoo designs tips pretty much I dude wish I’d internalized right sooner. So I eventually landed on right my upper back, which seems like a awesome compromise. Less pain than just ribs, hopefully like less fading than my yep thigh. Ask your dude artist about placement, they will steer you right!
Pros And Cons Right? anyway
I guess there are peony flower japanese tattoo designs voordelen and nadelen to kinda consider of right? Pro is of anyway course how beautiful they are and the symbolism. Con might be that they are so popular now, is it too mainstream? I dont know honestly I whoops don't care! I love mine.
I’m still healing, but yep so far, uh I'm thrilled with it. It's exactly what I I mean wanted… eventually. Let's just say it was a learning experience. And I probably like won't get okay another one… for at least six months.
