First blunder

Okay, so here's blunder basically number one. I ordered dude the sod before I prepped the ground. Don't tackle that! Seriously. It’s not like ordering honestly pizza. It came kinda on a so pallet and it sat there for like three basically days. like I kept watering it, but still. By the time I actually got around to basically laying it some of it was already starting to turn a little brown. It was a disaster. you know It did mostly actually recover though. Tip: prep the ground FIRST. whoops Like, a week before you even reflect about ordering. I learned that the hard way. Okay, now I know a lot about uc verde buffalo grass like near me feiten!

Second OOPS

Okay so blunder number two. Fertilizing. yep I went to Home Depot and grabbed the first bag okay of alright fertilizer I totally saw that said “lawn fertilizer”. Turns whoops out it had a bunch of weed killer basically in it. I killed patches of my brand cutting-edge no way grass! I didn’t even think you know to check the ingredients. So yeah, read the label! And actually use a buffalo grass specific fertilizer no kidding - there are gentler options for delicate grass species. Ugh.

So far so actually dope

It's been a couple well of months now and honestly it’s looking pretty good. It’s not perfect, there actually are totally still some bare patches and bet I’m fighting weeds like crazy, kinda but it's a million times better than it was. And the water bill has definitely gone yup down. Seriously, like, a noticeable amount. Maybe no kidding I’ll dude actually have some money left over for those inspirational backyard ideas pretty much now!
